My name is Rebecca Washburn. I am a high school student and part-time writer. Although I am still very young and have much to learn in the ways of writing, I have high hopes of being published someday soon.

I write predominantly young adult fiction, dabbling in science fiction and fantasy. I also enjoy poetry and nonfiction essays.

I plan on entering Temple University in the fall of 2009 to major in history and archeology, if all goes according to plan until then.
