Basic Summary
After receiving a new car for her seventeenth birthday, Payton Travison makes an unsettling discovery about herself. Not only does it seem that electronic devices everywhere she goes come to life, something terrible seems to be approaching Earth, and Payton unwillingly finds herself in the midst of stopping that disaster. Luckily, she has a talking car (even though he’s a sarcastic jerk), a flying toaster, plus many more interesting characters to help her. In order to understand her past and her future, Payton must embrace her abilities and her new role in life. The mysterious Bright Ones may have given her and her friends their gifts, but it is the evil Drokes who wish to take those powers for themselves. For a world caught in the middle of an intergalactic war, its only hope for survival lies with a girl and her talking SUV.
