Information

My name is Becca (or Becky, or Beck, or Goober, or Nanook of the North, depending on whom you ask.) I am a high school student, freelance artist, and part-time writer. This site is my personal homepage as well as the home of many of my interests and hobbies. Although I am still very young and have much to learn in the ways of writing and art, I have high hopes of being published someday soon. I am an aspiring artist as well. Commission me? Or perhaps, see my shoes?

I write predominantly young adult fiction, dabbling in science fiction and fantasy. I also enjoy poetry and nonfiction essays.

I draw an odd hybridization of American art and Japanese manga. I prefer digital art, but I'm slowly falling in love with markers. My odd specialty seems to be custom shoe art, as well as absurd mini-comics for my friends. I am currently working on an epic graphic novel, called Birthright, that will (hopefully) grace the Internet by 2013.

I plan on entering Temple University in the fall of 2009 to major in history and archeology, if all goes according to plan until then.

Besides writing and drawing, my hobbies include web design, sleeping and cooking. I also am learning to sew. I own a cat named Ninja, and I have a wonderful Gateway computer that I named Megatron. My favorite color is anything deep and rich, and cheese is my favorite food. I hate hypocrites and liars. I can't spell for my life, and I'm double jointed at my elbows. I enjoy debating with my religion teacher and mother, and pwning both of them every time.
